Unless you plan on using a red dot or scope do not get the straight version. I have one and the length of pull is good for me at 6'1" but your sight picture is uncomfortable to achieve without an optic. Get the slanted version unless you want an optic.

Uncle gave it to me and my brother as a Christmas present with the scope already on there when we were younger. Favorite gun to shoot when it comes to shits and giggles. Thats the main reason I got a bipod for it.
If shtf my folding 10/22 is my primary. I can hide it, carry hundreds and hundreds of rounds. Can hunt anything with it if properly aimed. A glock19 would be my secondary. The only thing that would replace my 10/22 in a shtf would be a lel kek sub2000 9mm. Then i would share ammo and mags with the g19.

Bought mine for around 400 and it runs like shit.
Keeps failing to fire, and it isn't feeding properly. I've cleaned it before too.

Change the striking pin. They break in any rimfire when dry fired. How much dry firing? It could be just once, it could never break, no idea. It can't be made any heavier since its a small piece slot, and being lighter is shit too. No idea if a titanium one will work but stop reading this and check your fucking pin.

Go to a 10/22 forum.
Springs/pin and properly oil/grease the spots you need to and it should work. WHen you field strip it before taking out the bolt, tack it and see if it drags without the lower trigger group guiding it, that's a sure sign of metal shavings/improper oiling/lack of oil

Why do the stock sights suck so bad? I think they're a great learning tool for teaching front sight focus since they're so terrible, but for practical purposes they suck.
