Sure, if it's a Korth revolver in 10x25mmAuto so I don't ever have to worry about anything breaking on it ever.
I could also use the MR 73 and pretend it's a better revolver because it feels like one but I'd still expect that to have more issues than the Korth.

I think it was in "Beyond this Horizon", a character has a .45 automatic (I'm assuming a 1911) and his friend calls him out on it, saying (rightly) chemical propellants are too slow compared to a laser beam. They have an impromptu shooting match, and the blast surprises his friend so badly he doesn't even get a shot off.
