So, I was looking for a new concealed carry gun, and I recently stumbled upon a walther ppk .380
Anyone have any experience with it, or can recommend something of a similar size?
Also, general cc thread
Just get a Bersa Thunder

looks nice, how's it handle?
>>27787185
its shit. go look at the massive amounts of FTF complaints and how sharp its edges are.
oh and its made by S&W under license....so yea....
maybe if its a genuine walther made in germany model it will be somewhat passable.
as for the gun itself, when its not constantly failing to load correctly, it has nice sights, a snappy safety, and a pretty good trigger in both DA and SA.
just get a glock43

Does walther still make the tph?

It's not a car, junior.

I found one near me brand new for like $250, should I get it as my first gun?
>>27787199
This. I bought one two months ago, for my wife and I also love it. One of the best guns I have ever owned.
>>27787258
Yes. Do it now.
>>27787229
not sure. think it had something to do with import restrictions, thats why its made state-side.
do some research friendo... google is just a webpage away.
but they do have srs FTF problems, so bad there are a assload of guides on polishing the feedramp and other little mods to get the damn thing to finally work more than 10% of the time.

Your wife fucks blacks on the side. Guaranteed.

they also make a cc model, good gun for the price and it is half that of a ppk without the slide bite
Look into the P-64. Extremely similar, loads cheaper ($200 or less) shoots a marginally more powerful round (9x18) and I put 500 rounds through mine with zero issues whatsoever. Flung brass 30 ft easy, so no worries of FTE's.
Only issue is super heavy trigger, but swap springs and you are good.

>P-64
i can recommend this as well. but trigger is shit and the safety is a bit harder to operate. Heel mag release gets some getting used to, and the mag cap is kinda crap....
make sure you stick to FMJ ammo and AIM the damn gun.
I own a Sig p230. I love its sleek design and its super inexpensive. It is a bit bulky for the caliber though. It's hard to carry with lighter clothes. I usually carry this one with a jacket.

DA triggers on those are long & hard
plus it jams with most ammo unless you have the perfect spring on the barrel and even then I wouldn't trust it
me = owned 3 of them over the years 2 in 380 and 1 in 32

but if it was it a car it would be a Renault Robin.
Mind those corners OP.

I have one. After 10 years of being carried and 5000+ rounds through it it is starting to show its age. Sadly I have bought four different pistols thinking I could replace it and be comfortable. Instead I just keep going back to the Thunder.
How about a m&p shield 9mm? I'm thinking about getting it tomorrow after I shoot it. Any comments?

Buy it. It's the perfect CC pistol. Not even meming

What's a good cc holster for it? I've heard the trigger guard gets in the way of alot of cc holsters. >>27788816

I bought one over the summer.
Lemon.
350 rounds in and the transfer bar failed. Sent for repairs, came back, trigger failed again.
Sold that bitch
