I have the milspec monkey cool guy deluxe hat in loden. It's pretty sweet even though it doesn't hide my power level very well. The plugs are a nice gimmick, if I forget my peltors at home or if I get a chance for an impromptu range trip I don't have to stick 9mm in my ears.
I'm going to south America soon, I'm thinking of buying a boonie because of the coverage, but i don't want to look like a tool So I might just tuck a handkerchief behind my ballcap to cover my neck.

Old, army-issue DCU boonie I cut my rank off of (can still see the darker fabric from where it was), left my name tape on the back though. Because fuck getting skin cancer on the tips of my ears. Doesn't play nice with earmuffs, which I prefer to wear when shooting, though. Also have a couple straw hats and a fuddcamo drover's hat with mesh sides.

My favorite, though, is a no-name chinkshit golf hat (driving hat/moleskine style hat) I got off Ebay for 99 cents that's cream-colored.

I've got a couple drover's hats (think Stetson but without the gay cowboy hat look, kinda like the old-school Cavalry hats) that are thick wool felt and, ostensibly, crushable/packable. They do pretty well in everything but high wind, and have been about as waterproof as any other hat I've owned (including a couple Goretex hats).

I've got about a dozen different skullcaps/watchcaps/beanies, ranging from super-thin ones designed to be comfortable under a helmet but still warm, to super-thick knit wool designed for Arctic conditions, in every material from Spandex to fleece to wool.
I am basically never outside without a hat, unfortunately it's pretty much a necessity for me. Since I'm almost completely bald on top, it's either that or rub sunblock into my head (which wouldn't be bad if I razor-shaved the rest of my head, but I don't, and getting sunblock into your hair is the worst feeling ever).

I rarely wear hats, but when I do it's one of these two, ballcap for whenever, usually shooting or really sunny days when I'm dressing casual and the flatcap for when I dress /fa/ casual, or at least try to.
In winter I usually wear a repro jeep cap or one of those earflap trapper caps.

I used to laugh at fags with tactical hats until I got a branded one for free and wore it around the house for a bit when I couldn't find my favorite. Then the magic happened. I sat down to listen to some music and put my headphones on, no fumbling to get them comfortably positioned around the button on top of my ball cap. GENIUS. These will do the same with my earpro, how could I have been so wrong?
