Date: June 24th, 25th, and 26th.
Location: Near Quincy, up in Plumas
Time: Friday to Sunday Evening
Carpool Hub is Lodi, Denny's 701 E Kettleman Ln, Lodi, CA At 10:00 AM, leaving 10:30 AM
Convoy Stop 1 is Oroville Burger King, 855 Oro Dam Blvd E,arrives at approx 11:45-12:00 stays for an hour and eats lunch
Convoy Stop 2 is the Quincy Safeway/Round Table Pizza at 20 E Main St, Quincy CA. Final stop before the site, buy pizza for pizza dinner+ food supplies at Safeway.
Finally, the convoy arrives at the town in the early evening after clearing the road and sets up camp, and possibly a night shoot.
For those unaware, on Saturday, April 30th, 8 /k/ommandos scouted a location in Plumas County for an upcoming Fri-Sat-Sun meetup in an ABANDONED MINE and
GHOST TOWN. This scouting meet was successful, with locations for shooting, parking, and camping found. Several buildings have been determined safe for use
during the trip, including the 3-story Miners' Hotel seen in some pictures, as well as some smaller log cabins throughout the area.
Preexisting fire pits and future latrine locations have also been scouted. This area is not particularly regulated or protected by the forest service, and
calls to the relevant authorities have confirmed that SHOOTING and CAMPING are ALLOWED in this location as long as shooting takes place 100 yards from the closest
road or structure.
This scouting meet did encounter trouble. We encountered several fallen trees on the road, which we will deal with via winches and chainsaws on Friday.
Mud and snow also proved to be an issue, but at the end of June this will no longer be a fear of ours. We will have the equipment to tow anybody who gets stuck
and markers will be posted along the mountain portion of the route so nobody who misses the /k/onvoy gets lost on his own.

GHOST TOWN MEET INFO
THE PLAN:
On Friday, the setup day, a /k/onvoy will be assembled and proceed north to Plumas County from the assembly point in Lodi, where anons from further south will be
able to park their cars for the weekend and shift gear and bodies to vehicles going the whole way. It is requested you bring a two-way radio to communicate with the
rest of the /k/onvoy, but one will be provided if you do not own one. Radios will be used for calling a halt if somebody needs to piss, calling out road hazards and
directions, and general chatter between vehicles.
The carpool schedule is as follows:
The /k/onvoy assembles in Lodi, CA, in the parking lot of Denny's earlier than 10:00 AM, and departs at 10:30 AM. Address is 701 E Kettleman Ln
The /k/onvoy makes a scheduled stop at the Burger King in Oroville for refueling and lunch, arriving around noon. Address is 855 Oro Dam Blvd E
And finally, the /k/onvoy will arrive at the site around 2:30 PM, and proceed with all the joy and merriment and such. SEE SLACK FOR MORE INFORMATION AND EXACT LOCATION.
Once the /k/onvoy arrives at the site, we will park, unload, and set up camp equipment for the evening. On Saturday, the shooting range opens in earnest,
and a hike will be organized for anons so inclined. Meals will be cooked and eaten in camp, and we willbe packing up on Sunday evening.
SATURDAY CONVOY FOR WAGEKEKS:
A smaller /k/onvoy is being organized for those who aren't NEETs and work for a living. At exactly 10:00 AM on Saturday there will be a guide in Taylorsville for
you to follow, the address is 4368 Main St, Taylorsville. The guide will leave at exactly 11:00 AM.
IF YOU ARE RUNNING LATE ON EITHER DAY, SAY SO ON SLACK. TRANSPORT TEAM WILL STAND BY FOR YOU.
Also, everything is subject to change, shit happens.

Would you guys be cool if I brought like guns? Like I have an AR I need sighting in, you are welcome to my 500 rounds of Wolf Steel case 5.56 if you like. I also have a CZ Tactical Sport which I just got back from Cajun Gun Works. I mean people are uncomfortable with other peoples guns in their cars. Especially here in California, on Saturday I need to do something at my work but after 6 am I will be free. I work at a store called Full Spectrum Firearms out of Fresno, we are off Marty and Shaw, we can meet at the iHop and you can check my ID and stuff.
>>
>>30375517
Never heard of that store, I trust only Turners for my gun needs. And meeting up at the ihope sounds sketchy as fuck.

Any Bay Area anons want a A2 Buttstock with A1 buttplate?

A2 is like new delton. A1 plate is cracked but servicable. Just the stock, and lower sling mount.

Don't need this shit laying around but it's practically worthless.

>He spent lavishly to build up an arsenal of 1,200 firearms, six and half tons of ammunition and explosive-making materials, which he piled high in every room of the small condominium he shared with his fiancee in a well-heeled hillside enclave high above the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles.

Friendly reminder that whenever threads start shit talking our state, to remind them we dont even make the top 5 worst states in regards to gun ownership.

Hawaii, new york, new jersey, massachusetts, conneticut, all have worse gun laws than us. It may be difficult, however we still have legal means to own every type of firearm in our state. The states I listed do not.

I never see anyone mention hawaii in the "which state...." threads. They have it much worse than we do. And if NY didnt have that shitty act, hawaii would make number 1 on the list.

Remember fellow /k/alifornians, that we are in this together and need to cut out this nonsense that we are the worst state for gun ownership.

Do we require permits to own guns? No
Do we have zero access to named restricted guns? No
Do we need justification with personal references to purchase a gun? No

Yes our state has some ridiculous laws for our guns, but we shouldnt have to carry the mantle for #1 worst state, when we dont even make the top 5.

Yes this may seem like a rant/wall of text, but I am fed up with people on/offline always talking shit about our home, and saying we are the worst state. We arent. There are much worse places to live. We have legal access to almost every firearm, and plenty of public land to shoot on. Most "freedom" states dont even have public land, or forests to shoot on, and require the use of ranges where you cant even shoot standing up(im looking at you VA). And states like those are the ones shit talking us. I always defend myself in conversations by reminding them "Sure you can own whatever gun you want with less of a hassle, but are you even able to shoot the damn thing without paying a fee? You are basically paying a tax everytime you go out to shoot." And most respond with "well I can shoot on private property in my state!" in which I always respond, "Do you even know anyone who owns private property, and would allow you to?" And the majority become mute on the matter.
>>
>>30387245
THIS
>>
>>30387245

Speaking of which, Hawaii just put all gun owners in a database, which means their rights go bye-bye whenever the state gov feels like it down the line.
>>
>>30387245
Last I checked, you could shoot a gun on private property in California too, so long as you're out of the cities and suburbs.

This is the newest pistol on the Californian roster list.

It comes in 5.56 and .308.

Anyone know if it requires a bullet button?
>>
>>30388506
Lol what does that have to do with what anon said?

Thats what he tells other states that are forced to shoot on ranges, whom give that excuse. For example, my father has been shooting and hunting here for 40 years, and still doesnt know anyone with private property willing to let people discharge firearms on it(this is CA afterall).

We have something quite a few states do not have, public land(blm). I think anons point was that, yes, you may be able to shoot on private property, but do most people even know anyone who has property, or will be allowed to shoot on it? More than likely not.

Another example, I own property in simi valley, doesnt mean I can legally shoot on it. Luckily enough, I can drive to blm just 2 hours away to shoot my rifles, and if im really pressed for time I can always choose to go to a range. Like anon said, even virginia, a place where their people brag about their gun laws, habe no options other than shoot at a range, or if lucky, know someone who will allow them to shoot on their property.
