"Uu~, mama, you have less than 2800 Life Points! I'll tribute my Lonefire Blossom to Special Summon my Tytannial, Princess of Camellias to attack you and Maria will win! Uu~! Maria's rose, Maria's rose!"
MARIA: 700
ROSA: 2000
"Nonsense, foolish little girl! You've activated my Trap Card, Solemn Strike! Since you're attempting to Special Summon an Effect Monster, I'll activate it and paying 1500 life points! Your princess will be destroyed! Haha, mother knows best, dear Maria!"
MARIA: 700
ROSA: 500
"Uu-, mama, did you just pay life points? I'll activate Maria's set card, Cash Back! It negates any effect of a card that has you pay life points, uu, uu-!! Maria's rose lives! Ki...Kihihihihihi!!!"
MARIA: 700
ROSA: 500
"I-I can't believe I..."
MARIA: 700
ROSA: 0000
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
MARIA WINS!

What does that card do?

Even I remember this from watching the anime as a kid. You can draw two additional cards. This card is banned as far as I know.

When the trap card hits you so hard you go back to 2007.
So by this logic, would the Higurashi cast love the Pokemon TCG?

What's the point of this card when better trap holes exist?
>>15486010
Mostly booster filler but generic destruction doesn't work out as well against signature monsters anymore
>>15486010
OP here. Generally, "Trap Hole" cards destroy the monster on summon, meaning any effects it would have on the field could be applied (such as an immunity to destruction). While it is called "Chaos Trap Hole", in the original Japanese name, it isn't a Trap Hole.
Chaos Trap Hole is a counter trap, meaning it negates the monster it is summoning, and no effects can be applied. Additionally, it banishes the card, and many LIGHT and DARK decks want monsters in the graveyard either to fulfill cards, revive them, or pay for costs. By banishing them, it makes them harder to interact with, and while there are cheaper cards in terms of cost, Chaos Trap Hole fills a good niche in the side deck.
man the Alchemist art is so much more boring than ryu's
Maria and Battler especially look like shit
