Elder sister youkai who looks after her own. If you're a tsukumogami, she's probably your best bet at not getting exterminated by Gensokyo's big hats, though Mamizou is also a good choice.
She doesn't seem to be all that smug or powerful compared to other extra bosses, but her body swapping trick is neat and has a lot of untapped applications in porn. She can teach you to become a robot loli by putting your soul into your computer or something, or if she manages to figure out how to swap bodies with humans instead of objects, she can even rape you with your own dick.

Raiko's pretty great. She's been in the Good Newhus section since her introduction, which isn't very common for me, though DDC was an exception almost all around and had a mostly fantastic cast.

She's basically Tsukumogami Moses.
Realized that whilst the power of the Miracle Mallet was immense it was also corruptive, practically a drug and also limited. Helps free the Tsukumogami youkai from the Miracle Mallet's influence.
She's generally one of the nicer youkai since unlike most tools she was used a lot in her life when she was a Taiko Drum youkai and harbours no grudges. She turned herself into a modern drum youkai from the outside in order to escape the Miracle Mallet's power and also keep herself relevant as a youkai.

Well, she was a pretty pathetic Extra boss. I like her, but that shitty clipart-looking danmaku certainly doesn't help. She also gets lumped in with the Who-kumo sisters, which drags her down unfairly.

It would certainly help if there was some follow-up to DDC-ISC. Leader of tsukumogami was a little intriguing until Mamizou took that role in FS.
I'd like to think she's a supportef/pals around behind the scenes with Mamizou, but doesn't take an active role.
Or in light of recent FS might could even be opposed to the way she uses tsukumogami.

They're all pretty lackluster, aside from Seija and maybe Banki. Well, Shinmyoumaru isn't boring, but she's a gigantic clusterfuck instead, which isn't necessarily better.
Although to be clear, I only meant that Raiko's danmaku was ugly, not boring.

Pretty much my thoughts, except I don't even like Banki because her nonspells and final card all look so similiar and she's more of a joke than Hime once you know her danmaku.
I asked in the first place because Raiko isn't that bad in my opinion when you compare her to the rest of the game - it's just that DDC danmaku looks very bland in general aside from the gimmicks.

I love her theme. DDC gets a lot of flak and that includes the music and I just don't understand why. ZUN experimented and I think the music turned out great, especially with Raiko and Sukuna.
I can understand not enjoying the gameplay, although I tend to play on Easy except for Extra (where I use cheat engine so I can actually see the boss, sorry /jp/) so I'm probably a poor judge of that.
But the characters and music? I love them. Waggysaggy, Raiko, and Sukuna rank high on my list (Sukuna very high). What's the deal, /jp/?
Sorry for the rant, but it just bugs me.
