Announcements and events scheduled by non-admin/mods seemed to be quite unreliable and didn't show up most of the time, so we pretty much relied on threads to announce games. The /jp/dots chat channel also served the same purpose to a lesser extent after we got a game going.
The Anon who made the steam group also didn't play at all so the group settings are probably not set up properly and stuff since he didn't really had much contact to what was going on with the /jp/ games.

Yes, it is now possible to spectate DotS now that it has dedicated servers. Although the only way to do it is via watching a friend's game. (I think)

I kind of find her boring. Her kit seems pretty passive outside of shooting the occasional nuke and maybe a flag swap initiation.
I suppose she can be effective, I've gotten a number of kills off of good laser bounces and she provides some good passive buffs to creep waves. Just don't expect an Aya level of effectiveness.

Install dota2 go to the "Arcade" tab search for "Touhou" and defence of the shrines 2 should be the first, and maybe still only, result. Install it and your good to go.
Also, there's a chat channel within dota2 called "/jp/dots" that you should join, as well as this steam group that may or may not be an effective mean to coordinate lobbies.

You want the secret to landing easy grabs? Use it as a follow up to spear. Throw it and immediately start your charge.
The spear hit? Easy grab. Miss? Oh well, try again in 10 seconds.

Everyone's horribly imbalanced but really the key is knowing how to react to certain situations. There's plenty of strategy, but the game lacks some items to actually execute strategy like smoke, blink daggers, or other such "let's fight" items, so things usually boil down to pushing, initiating with the handful of initiation heroes, or just outcarrying and rolling down a lane with hyperfarmed heroes. There's strategy, but not so much in the way of tactics, because the itemization in the game boils down to "hold people with ranged cc when they're out of position," and everything else is kind of shit

I had no idea what she was doing other than that she could stun, very helpful tooltips would read again.

Her Q is like nature's prophet's Q except it can't be targeted and the flowers attack enemies (gains duration per level)
Her W is a stun that makes a path of flowers to the target (gains in damage and range by level)
Her E gives vision and bonus attack speed in a large radius (gains duration by level)
Her D plants flowers that do small amounts of damage
Her R makes an illusion that mimics the spells you use, so pretty much if you use her Q, it makes flowers around the illusion as well. It does that for all of her spells (gains a lower CD and more durable illusion by level)
She also has a built in passive that gives her +5 damage per sunflower on the map

Checking damage stats seems to be impossible in-game. The console returns nothing at the end of the replay.
I Uploaded the replay to YASP for parsing and I got a bunch of stats, altho it sometimes gets confused as to which heroes were in which team and it doesn't return overall HH, TD nor HD stats, but it does some Damage stats in the teamfights tab.

Rumia is pretty simple, hit stuff,hit stuff while invis and chomp them when their hp is low.
Mokou has a spammable fire kick aoe nuke that costs HP and a skill that turns you into a pheonix ball that can be broken in 1 hit (used for healing) and the best part is she don't even need MP,she builds into a tanky DPS later on like Huskar.
Youmu is also fairly easy to play with a passive that reduces enemy armor whilst increasing your damage that stacks,a blink with 2 damage points that also stack your armor debuff,a un-killable phantom clone that can also stack your armor debuff and a Omnislash to help you finish enemies running away/use as a finishing move after stacking enough armor debuffs.

Koishi is squishy and does not have a real escape in a game where pretty much anyone can nuke each other to shit in a matter of seconds though. Your ult is also easy to mess up near creeps,towers or roshan,leaving you vulnerable if they remember where you were and are alive enough to deal with you.Generally people who complain about Koishi are the Koishi players themselves.
