desu a huge part of the fun of DR is the on-stage dynamic between the girls and Bucho, how they're always making fun of him and turning the audience on him and offstage he's a good Mori-like MC when they do livestreams and other things like Vine or twitter videos.
I guess the growling vocals are up to personal preference, but what I like about DR is that they're not trying to be Babymetal or even metal, unlike Ladybaby. Having Koba produce their next album (they already have one) would likely result in more dadcore, but yeah they could use better exposure and marketing besides just one video with English subs. Not to mention the dynamics of how they handle themselves as an idol group not pretending to not be an idol group. They have an amebo blog about their daily school lives, they're not pretending to be characters like the Babymetals who have to be locked away from social media. You see behind the scenes footage of them, them rehearsing and practising, etc.
Babymetal is Babymetal and Death Rabbits are Death Rabbits. I love them both. I wouldn't want them to be similar and I do trust in Akira Kanzaki aka Bucho as the manager/producer/third member.
Ladybaby I like, but they seem to be trying to capture lightning in a bottle again and again and they're pretty one-dimensional.

I actually doubt that they're going to play much new material right away. Either because the band/babymetals haven't fully memorized it all just yet or because managements want to milk the new song fur until after the album comes out and for the next tour.
