I think it's only a matter of time before she ends up oukai like every other magician. I personally dont understand why she hasnt already, I see absolutely no downside.
No sleep is more time to train, no worries about getting food and drink, focus purely on training, and eternal youth to keep you at your prime for most efficiency.
Byakuren, Sakuya, Seiga, Miko, Patchy, Alice. All humans who in some way or another have extended their life. I dont get why other humans dont copy her. Reimu and Sanae I understand, it would probably be considered "impure" and prevent them from being shrine maidens if they werent human enough. But Marisa should go for it.

Zun can fix it. I'm still waiting for Kasen in a non fighting game too. I have to say, WaHH has introduced some really great characters. It's just a shame Zun doesnt take them beyond that, and even if he did he would likely just abandon them after one game. Like Flan.
I atleast hope fluffy Marisa can meet Ran, that would be interesting. Or if she met Marisa while disguised as Marisa. Still, I'm happy with the focus on Kasen for now.

If I recall correctly, she only wanted to check out the foxball that wasn't a foxball because the foxes had heard about it and were curious, and she didn't really have any intentions to take or use it.
Anyways, even if she was trying her best to trick Reimu, it can't compare to how much time and work Marisa must have put into searching for ingredients and experimenting with them to gain her power and her flashiness. Speaking of which, the fox isn't very flashy, so one more difference between them.

She's besties with Reimu, the top exterminator in town. Although she's very friendly with youkai for a miko, she's strictly and strongly against humans from the village turning into them, so she exterminates those regardless of their intentions, and she'd probably want to apply this to Marisa, as well. There are also other humans she's close with, like her family and Rinnosuke, that probably wouldn't like it very much if she went down that path.
So, she'd at the very least gravely upset her best friend, her family and some more and possibly put her life in danger just so she wouldn't have to sleep or eat, which are nice things to do anyways.
I suppose there could also be something to be said about keeping true to one's nature.

Also Kagerou and Keine were both humans who were cursed, Reimu has exterminated neither. Reimu only exterminates youkai who cause trouble.

But lets be honest, we will never see her god. Zun couldnt deliver it after all this, and given how OP Reimu is anyway.
It's sorta like how Half Life 3 cant exist, as it would be crushed under it's own hype, or how One Piece will have a dissapointing ending after all the buildup.
