-Winter event has been announced to be Operation Rei-Go, for February 10th. It will have multiple ship rewards.
-For those who don't have Graf Zeppelin and Mizuho, they will appear in the event.
-Valentine's Day seasonal voices will also arrive on February 10th.
- According to KanColle Style published in Jan 2016, they're preparing for a bit new things for the second half of this year.
- One new Spring Kanmusu will be implemented in the PS Vita's edition before her planned implementation in the browser game this Fall.

I have never heard about such people. I'm pretty sure majority of anons here do "0 screws" upgrades when they can't afford upgrading Bisko guns or Quints every day.
As for 12.7cm guns, they are good early on when you drop Akashi early but don't have Akizuki, Pastas etc. Endgame isn't everything, I believe one should upgrade stuff in a way that he benefits from it since the start.

I just finished watching the KanColle anime, and I honestly have to say, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Once you disregard a lot of the stupid crap like how they skate across water, or how they depict the actual gameplay pretty much completely wrong for the most part, it was genuinely fun to watch.

The character's personality and traits clashed with canon depictions in the game.

Being a screwup by itself isn't a problem because she can grow from it. She is admired mostly because she is a hard worker. Everything else is just how your typical anime friendships pan out. The only one whose opinion might have been seriously affected by the Admiral's orders was Nagato.
