(01/05) Iwata Karen announces graduation.
miichan daisuki!
>>14595420
lol. The OP of 435 removed it. That cunt.
>>14595422
You are wrong to say that.
>>14595420
No one cares that she's graduating so it's ok.
She announced her graduation on December 17th, 2015. Her last concert and stage will be held on March 19th and 20th, 2016.
>>14595436
You're confusing Karen with your oshi.
>>14595436
>No one cares
karen: ranked
team 8: 0 (ZERO) ranked members out of 46 participants
>>14595461
>karen: ranked
wat
>>14595461
>karen: ranked
which timeline is that from?
>>14595463
The funny thing is, karen is graduating because she didn't rank last year.
Remember when she said she will no longer participate in SSK if she didn't rank?
>>14595453
Please.
I don't think I could ever be drunk enough to confuse her with my oshi.
>>14595449
So, dates. I'm salty they've kept Takayama in senbatsu instead of her. Kazumin is the only current member that actually really annoy me.
>>14595467
Probably the prelim rankings.
>>14595420
thanks for remembering her, anon
Good OP
She's so cute it hurts.
>>14595562
Nah.
>>14595562
She seems like a weirdo.
>>14595593
No Aoitan gravure pls. She must remain innocent.
are there any relatively new members that match the greatness of the graduated ones (or ones that are going to graduate within a couple years, if you know what I mean)
like I feel the only girls that people KNOW from akb are the ones that were in it first
I want you
i want you
i need you
i need you
i love you
i love you
>>14595617
I feel like older generations don't let younger generations get attention.
also, the feeling of "we are a team" is much greater in the granniesat least when they are being filmed
hkt and team 8 are nice because they basically don't have senpais
>>14595617
With possible the exception of Yuko, absolutely yes. They'd be doing better though if they weren't constantly in the shadow of still-present senior members though.
>>14595637
>the feeling of "we are a team" is much greater in the grannies
Even among the grannies that's really only true of 2nd gen. But new gen would be doing better if not for these ridiculous shuffles.
>>14595646
Fucking shuffles.
the youngsters aren't even trying. they should work harder.
the grannies were cream pied at every akbingo in the good old times.
>>14595637
>don't have senpais
I feel like the lack of senpais gave the founding generations a degree of confidence that gets stiffled in junior generations.
>>14595672
yukirin even trained her reaction to cream pies with tegoshi
>>14595672
... Classic example of nostalgia talkingor just trolling. New gen get batsu-gamed just as often as the old gen did. And sometimes the punishments are worse, imho.
>>14595696
I want to see girls crying, anon
like they all cried with kyouto's pranks
like when minegishi cried when hit in the head by a ball
like yuko cried because of balloons and because of happines
like that team 8 girl cried because sata hit her
like akimoto sayaka cried every time people said she wasn't pretty/feminine
the girls don't cry anymore. I'm crying.
>>14595617
At first I thought this too, that the old members were too good, but as I watched more and more recent shows with the new gen, I started to like them a lot more. My first oshi was Sae but I oshihen'd to a newgen member. There are many interesting newgens more outstanding than original Kami7, you just have to get to know them.
>>14595712
>the girls don't cry anymore.
They cry only during SSK
>>14595562
What are her feet like? Any reports from events?
>>14595724
I don't like the ssk kind of crying. It's just anxiety.
As a newgen fan, all this nostalgia shit management pulled recently has been gratuitous and obnoxious. Naachan makes so much money for AKS but there just wasn't room for her in the last single. I would cry out of frustration too.
>>14595730
>anxiety
B-but...Miki-chan.....K-Komiharu-chan..
>>14595712
Takagi Yumana is an ugly crier.
>>14595601
You're not helping
>>14595733
She still can't bring in the money that Yuko and Acchan did.
>>14595712
So what you're saying is, you don't watch AKBINGO anymore.
>>14595741
She's already bringing in more money than Yuko and Acchan did in in their 3rd year.
>>14595741
Naachan is not. Sayanee and Sakura are.
>>14595742
I do watch. Mikichan is the best, following minegishi's footsteps
>>14595747
And they get put into every senbatsu so what's the problem?
>>14595751
Just admit it, you don't watch AKBingo because it isn't subbed anymore and you're too lazy to learn Japanese.
>>14595759
Nostalgiafags like you. If you're not the anon I replied to, learn to read. Bottom line is AKB is doing great without Acchan and Yuko.
>>14595761
Not him but AKBINGO's been pretty shit lately.
>>14595761
It was being subbed until ikura48 died. Rip.
But it happened not long ago. I suppose akbingo hasn't changed in two or three weeks. So, yeah, the youngsters are pretty shitty as entertainers.
>>14595593
>>14595601
>>14595740
NO AOI GRAVURE PLS. ASSHOLES.
I feel bad because Aa-chan, Yuko, and the other legends were supposed to have graduated, and yet they still have to constantly show up for PVs, lives, and events like Kouhaku because the new AKB is in decline and isn't able to hold itself up without them... for example, their performance at Kouhaku this year was totally centered around the old members performing old songs. If it wasn't for them, who would have even cared?
The old members worked so hard to carry AKB to success, and I just hate that they can't graduate in peace without having to constantly reappear and bolster the group. The newer girls (with the exception of Nogizaka46) are really boring and kind of flat "aidoru" characters that never had to struggle to mold the image of AKB into what it used to be, so it makes sense that they just aren't as exciting or original. And it doesn't help that the latest music is super boring. /endrant
>>14595772
How am I a nostalgiafag? I just like AKB, you're the one drawing an imaginary line between generations and getting hostile about it.
Management might not need to bring back graduated members but the fact is that they are and they have their reasons for doing it. Stop bitching about it.
>>14595785
didn't read. just wanna reply to a post that will eventually be deleted.
>>14595789
Because your memory of old AKBINGO is coloured by nostalgia. It wasn't as good as you remember, nor is new AKBINGO as bad.
And the graduated members are coming back because of the single debut 10th anniversary, not because new gen is failing.
>>14595773
It's been pretty good. More NOGIBINGO! influences have helped.
>>14595785
I don't think any of the graduates are doing well enough that they'd turn down an extra paycheck from AKB-related activities.
>>14595795
But nogibingo is worse
>>14595800
It's not.
>>14595772
Agreed.
People are just being nostalgic and wanted to bask in the glory when AKB was enjoying extreme popularity.
There really isn't much of a difference, especially bingo wise. And there are actually more variety shows to enjoy now. Nostalgia hits everybody. Everything in the past always seems better. I don't blame them.
>>14595795
Not really. The gap between good episodes is too huge, and it doesn't help that uggos like Izurina get shoved in everyone's faces, while qts from roughly the same gen like Omori are never seen.
>>14595794
Not the BINGO guy and I never said that bringing grads back had anything to do with anything failing, I just said that management are doing it for a reason. If seeing old members bothers you so much (with your clear bias against them) then just ignore the next single.
>>14595808
I was responding not only to your comment but to the entire idea that grads back == new gen failing.
And I don't have a bias against grads, I loved them.
>>14595796
But I think the question here is more about why does management even have to offer them an extra paycheck in the first place? Why can't the current AKB hold up without graduated members?
Don't get me wrong, I loved this year Kouhahu performance. It made me really happy to see the old members performing the oldies and even joining in for Koisuru Fortune Cookie. And the PV for Kibouteki Refrain made my wota heart jump. But come on, at some point you gotta ask how much longer can the older girls carry the group?
>>14595805
>there are actually more variety shows npw
There most certainly are not. Back in the old days, there used to be a great 48g show every day of the week including the weekends.
>>14595802
Nogibingo 1 and 2 were nice because of akbingo influences.
Nogibingo 3, 4 and 5 were just boring with those entire episodes of they talking to the camera.
>>14595814
>why does management even have to offer them an extra paycheck in the first place
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sakura_no_Hanabiratachi
> AKB48's debut single, released independently through AKS on February 1, 2006
>>14595813
Then don't label yourself a "new gen fan" and show hostility to anyone that mentions liking the past.
You're just an AKB fan. This argument of new-gens vs old-gens doesn't start until somebody uses the term "nostalgiafag"
>>14595819
>Nogibingo 1 and 2 were nice because of akbingo influences.
Those were the worst seasons. It finally came into its own with 3.
>>14595823
>This argument of new-gens vs old-gens doesn't start until somebody uses the term "nostalgiafag"
You should probably follow this chain of responses back to see where it actually started. And if you don't want to be called a nostalgiafag, don't be one. Realise that memory lies.
>>14595827
Damn you have some shit taste
>>14595837
My taste is just fine, thanks.
It's like they don't even remember the Ohori saga.
>tfw nobody laughed at creampie silly joke
>>14595844
Meetan was nice.
>>14595850
Regardless of how nice she was, the weeks dedicated to her single debut were agony.
>>14595782
>>14595850
Her BINGO episodes weren't
>>14595821
Yes, I get it, 10th anniversary, and?
When a member graduates, it symbolizes release. It's a bittersweet acknowledgment of their work in contributing to the group, but it's also a commitment for the group to be able to use its own strength to move forward and face the future as an entity independent of the graduating member.
No where does celebrating a 10th anniversary necessitate bringing back graduated members. If anything, a strong group would be able to use the 10th anniversary as a way to relegitimize itself and solidify its continuity. Instead, this celebration was like 95% focused on old members bringing out memories of the 'good ol' days'.
>>14595857
>No where does celebrating a 10th anniversary necessitate bringing back graduated members.
It's pretty common practice in Japan, actually.
>>14595858
Hmm, can you name some groups?
I don't think Momusu did it, but that's the only one I can definitely confirm, in terms of 10th anniversaries. Not saying you're wrong, I'm just curious.
Have you thanked yuriya's mom today?
>>14595874
momusu released a special 2007 medley w/ old members
>>14595877
How can I get in contact with her?
>>14595789
Lol you're pathetic. Sounds like you're really upset about being called a faggot. Learn to back up your arguments if you actually want to discuss. Otherwise you can go back to S48.
>>14595877
Yuriya is cute but she sounds like a goose.
>>14595885
Pizza has KTK pics and CWO has walls of text. You need to find a flashy gimmick too so the rest of the thread can filter you.
>>14595817
We have at least 3 48g shows a week on air excluding ongoing web series. You are just not following or watching them. Especially if all you do is go on H!O and videodouga to check for content.

>>14595921

>at least 3 a week

She takes lots of pictures and appreciates beauty. How nice.
