He gets nothing from this. There is no official figure, fumo, etc merchandise. It's all fanmade and sold by fans. The fact that it's based on his character is meaningless. This is what it means to be a doujin series and not be owned by a corporation.
His touhou incomes comes from comiket sales mostly. While I'm not entire sure if he sells all his games online, playism does has a contract with him to sell DDC so that's something. I tried searching amazon for official game releases, but all I found is resellers. He should be getting royalties from all the touhou manga however.

I don't understand why you people even say this. Look at the LoLK interview SCoOW. It is clear he hasn't lost his passion. I doubt someone who doesn't care about a series wouldn't put as much thought into it as he does. Plus, there still the new magazine and manga coming out.
