It is completely normal and excepted for that popularity to die since the actual number of people that play the game is low as oppose to anime-only watchers, but with the new announcement of a s2 and a movie those anime-only fans will stick around in anticipation for it. Once the new anime aires it will gain even more popularity and more fans. What is important is after that. Is there going to be even more adaptations or not?

Different Anon here, just woke up and KCV would crash for me on launch as well, just wanted to report that this worked. I manually checked for updates to Windows 10 and restarted; it was a substantial update as I hadn't seen it install the way it just did in the few months I've been on Windows 10, it had it's own progress bar that had to restart the system a couple of times, and after it was done it gave me the Apple-esque punctuation-less "We've updated your system" message before everything loaded back up. KCV runs fine afterwards.

Abukuma is far too valuable to pass up as #1 blueprint. She's extremely strong and you get a daihatsu carrier for your expeditions when she isn't needed which is also helpful.
Second is a toss up with recent crane updates - Tone and her sister are extremely useful when you need CAVs however the new Zuikaku/Shoukaku upgrades are extremely potent and armoured carriers are very strong these days. Pick whichever you find to be the best choice depending on your current situation.
After that it's just a matter of what's available to you. Save for Bismarck if you want or get a BBV upgraded, it's your choice depending on what you use.
Also Maya does not need a blueprint but, if you don't have Akizuki or Teruzuki, I'd highly recommend levelling her anyway - her AACI is invaluable.

You can get more daihatsu from Akitsumaru. You'll probably pick up one or two of her from LSCing or event drops as time goes on. There might be a time where a second ABKM is worth a blueprint but it'd be far down the line.

One dupe is enough, and you really should leave it until you get the important blueprint remodels out of the way first.

It's not worth going for another Abukuma until after you've upgraded the rest of your stuff and even then it's kind of questionable. The only reason I'd recommend it for is to bypass locking for events which isn't really worth it unless you got nothing else to spend your time/resources/blueprints on. Also Akitsu Maru provides more daihatsu and doesn't need a blueprint albeit she's RNG from LSC.

The "named" plane squadrons (and rarer planes) are all like that, I think, since they're already famous aces from the start.
Ex. Tomonaga Squadron, Murata Squadron
