Can we have one of these again?
Posting what I have.
tfw my flickr photos get stolen for these threads all the time
D..dozo.
>>14504179
You should post them again! Last time I saw those I couldn't save any.
Great thread
Thanks opie
I haven't seen such Hight quality photos in a long time.
Some of those are brilliant
Bought a somewhat expensive camera for my trip, but ended up with a ton of blurry/mediocre pictures. Really should have brought a tripod with me.

Hope you nerds get to walk around the city one day as well.

Not that anon, but being from a pretty small city myself, i agree.
Massive cities can be pretty overwhelming if you're not used to them.

sadly i still don't have a scanner

I'm just joking, only a few actually haven't.

Nah, don't worry about it.
Anyone else seen the Christmas fireworks at Odaiba?
Just saw them last night, was really nice. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures to post here.

I'm just curious, what's the ratio of h to non-h doujin in this event?
Some excellent pictures. Bittersweet scrolling through them, I just got back from a month stay in November and seeing all this is making me wish I was there
>>14503998
Walking down streets like this is seriously the best memory of my life, so many cool food places packed in and such a cool atmosphere...
>>14508190
Curious where this was taken.
Not really a cityscape, but it was comfy.

Anyone have anything from shrines or of torii gates like this?
>>14523689
I'll put it on mega, I need to update my archive and back it up anyways.
Does anyone know a good free archive splitter/joiner? I used hjsplit for JAV back in 2008-2009ish when megaupload and rapidshare were still around. I've had large uploads fail before, and my upload speed is currently shit so I need to do it piece by piece.
>>14530962
>>14523689
>>14526729
Ok, so my collection is about 5GB
My upload speed is currently 500Kbps, small b for bits not bytes (I'm in the country visiting family)
That's roughly 1MB per 16 seconds, so it would take 22 hours to upload the whole thing, in pieces, assuming none of it fails, which is unlikely with my shitty ass unreliable redneck hillbilly internet. Therefore, I am not going to do it.
I'll be back in a city for New Year's with civilized internet speeds, if this thread is still alive or a similar thread is up, I'll upload and link to it then.

Why live?
>>14533274
No, most of my shit comes from flickr and skyscrapercity. I've been there once but my photos suck. Photography actually takes a lot of skill, talent, and time to develop, and I'm not really that interested
flickr instituted some bullshit register to view in full res thing a while back, which is tied to your yahoo account, and yahoo accounts now require a phone number to sign up for, I tried using some throwaway voips but it didn't work. there's ways around it but if I can't be fucked desu, I wonder if they'll die.

>>14507521
It's urban comfiness. You just want to walk down that alley way forever, walking on the right to avoid the rain, with 2814 playing on your headphones, and reading the graffiti on the walls as the city life bustles somewhere distant beyond the walls of the lots.
>you and your fellow salarymen will never hit the izakaya after a 12 hour shift and talk about how your son made captain of the baseball team and how you think you're due for a promotion when you really aren'ttasukete!
Too bad cities only look nice in photos. I hate being in any downtown area.
damn some of these pics reminds me of the times when i played gran turismo 3 special stage route 11 and just wanted to drive off the circuit so that i could freely roam the city.

~4GB of Tokyo pics (a small amount of other Japanese cities and Chinese cities like HK, but similar vibe)
Keep in mind that not all of them are hi-res and I've posted some of the best shit in this thread already.
Uploaded in parts because I've had situations in the past where I had a monthly bandwidth usage cap and my internet cut out during large uploads, forcing me to restart from scratch.
