Untold in story is eh, kinda ruins the story about 1, I guess it assumes people who pick this mode already know everything about the original 1 or something. Raquna is cute. Classic mode is good.
Haven't tried Untold 2 since I didn't like the original 2 in the first place.
Mystery Dungeon was enjoyable for me but all I hear is bad things about it here.

4 is bretty good.
Mystery Dungeon is awesome. It's just that you can ruin the game for yourself by using the Infinite Strength trick. If you do this because you have no willpower, the game will be miserably unfun for yourself. It's funny for maybe 10 minutes.
My favorite is still 2.

I hate when people say EO is for masochists, I'm a total casual and postgame excluded I never have problems for maybe some bosses (where the cheesy trick anyway isn't grinding but rebuilding at the cost of 2 levels the character).
As long you're not greedy with the exploration and do the side quests you shouldn't have problems.
