>>61198294
>But what even happens if they leave?
My understanding is this, what changes is that British parliament isn't beholden to every division that Brussels makes, the endless red tape and the endless insane demands. The figureheads of the EU are unelected officials put in charge by German and the EU and absolutely insane right now. It's 100 % undemocratic. Besides the the pound might drop a little bit but they will recover and can decide their own fate. If the UK stays in the EU they will have to adopt the euro by 2020 and that's a fucking nightmare because historically the pound has been much stronger and by the looks of Greece and Spain it would be a nightmare for the UK to support them.
>>61198438

Despite all the uncertainty, the British economy is still very solid, the most solid in Yurop at the moment.
Can you imagine the older folks who voted Leave and then went to bed, and who will be waking up in a few hours to find out how much their savings they've lost?? Gran'll be pouring a nip of gin in that first cuppa.
>>61199534
That woman is always trying to kill herself.
i do wonder how leaving will work out. will the EU seek to punish the UK or will they just accept the results and play ball? i'm not sure how punishment will work out long term and will probably also piss off other EU members. at the same time they might think making an example of the UK will discourage others from leaving
