Most of them have bought digital copies, so they just send me that, and I delete it after I'm done with the translation.
In case they have a physical copy they just tell me the name, and I use either exhentai or other sites to see what I need to translate.

The origin of the word of samurai is 候 of the end of sentence in old Japanese style.
候 is pronounced as 'sourou'.
This is さぶらう in hiragana.
As that changed its phonological, it became 'samurai' and '候'.
The originate meaning of the word is 'to serve somebody'.
That became to use in the end of sentence as humble language.
That is a similar to today's 'である' that is the end of the sentence in literary style.
