I didn't found any pdf online and there is literally 0 digital versions of the fucking thing, you can't get the book in a legitimate way other than buying a physical used copy, and is one of the few that teach you how to traditional render textures from imagination (hell, I haven't been able to find another book on this subject matter. All the others are rendering from a reference or digital).

For comic books mastering perspective is important, there is something you can learn from cinematography or animation, lots of comics can be thought as key frames in animation.
Here, get this book about perspective and try mastering perspective. If you do so, you could make scenes in whatever lens you want, close-ups, details, whatever, it's all good:

It's really awesome for beginners. But if you've read Hampton or have done a good amount of life drawing, there are only a few pages worth it in there.
I wish it went more in depth with its concepts, but "muh beginner artist" meme prevents it from being an outstanding book.

The first one you linked, ソフィーのアトリエ ~不思議な本の錬金術士~ アートワークス, doesn't have very good reviews. Sounds like the content is mediocre.
The other book is entirely about drawing faces, for which the reviewers says that it is quite helpful. They do note that the book is more intended for beginner/intermediate level. So if you have trouble with faces, I'd definitely say this is the one to choose. I might get it myself.

Then would you happen to have his first name? The anon who told me to look for the books couldn't recall, and googling Hampton, before I came into this thread, only brought up things having to do with the hotel chain, the place in Long Island, or some stamp production company.
>>2583001
micheal hampton. But googling "hampton art" or "hampton drawing" would get you there. Figure Drawing and Design is pretty good imho

any books (or sites) with random objects ref pictures? like from chair to guns and fish, and not drawn by some artist, but just irl pics. And pics not with just one object, but crowded, kjg style

>Just google random objects mate
I don't want to draw random objects, I want to draw random objects in perspective with other objects
searching for a random object just bring pictures with the said object, dead center, with nothing else in the composition
even googling ''crowded street'' or something like that brings up bad photoshoped stock pictures with bad perspective
I just want to train perspective and relative proportions man between objects at different distances
>>2583380
Your last two lines are describing plein air friend. I know you said you're drawing at work but your best course of action is to go somewhere in the real world and draw.
You can't trust the camera for perspective, there are to many ways it can be manipulated and fuck with you.
Go outside and draw. Or start setting up still lifes in your home.
>>2583385
>ask for something
>just do this other thing instead

it is at work when I have the time and access to a pc
>>2583389
>asking for a personally curated library of reference that they find fit their needs
That's your problem. Build it yourself.
>not your personal army
Also, I got no idea how you plan to make it if you think drawing requires access to a pc. You'll get fired for drawing at work eventually anyway.
>>2583397
> Build it yourself.
requires time, I do so, but having outside help would be nice too
> I got no idea how you plan to make it if you think drawing requires access to a pc
forgot to reread the phrase after I deleted a part
it is at work when I have the time, and since I got access to a pc*
don't get me wrong, I like to do plein air, but I got free time at work and so I am trying to replicate it there
or whatever, why do you care what reason I want them for? I shouldn't have mention it in the first place
do you have a collection of pictures with plenty of objects in it, at different distances from the view point, and in different perspectives? y/n
>>2583401
I don't anon. I do exactly what I suggested to you when I am trying to do perspective work. I make little still lifes at home and draw outside. Or I try to do perspective stuff based on the theories espoused in many of the books on the subject without ref.
Good luck finding whatchu want
>>2583335
A scanned version will be much better. It will be easier to edit a scanned version to make the text more legible if there occur any aberrations
>>2583380
How can others know from what perspective you want to draw? Anyway,
such a collection is very difficult to find as you donot know exactly "what" to search for. Messing up your house furniture would provide a good reference. Also when doing an internet search, attatching keywords such as "HD'', "16K", "8K", "HQ" etc will yield better results. Still, imo that can never match plein air experience because the perspective is under your control here.

Had to leave before I could scan the last chapter "Careers" and the afterword. I don't think either parts of the book are terribly important. Can add them in if you desperately want them.

Please scan the remaining sections too. The complete book is certainly better. Also there might be suggested readings and other little nuggets at the end. Therfore, if you could upload the rest, it will be great. Thank you very much anon, you saved me! I haven't gone through it yet, if I find any defects, will let you know. This title should be added to the OP post in next thread. Thanks a ton.

Anyone have Graphic L.A. by Robh Ruppel?
I have the Katsuya Terada art book called the Monkey King and the Dragon Girl.
But I don't have my scanner, is there another way to share it?

Yeah but the quality will be shit and the pages won't be flat and "clean"
>>2576404

Does anyone have any good watercolor books to share? I've looked through all of the posted files and not found any, though I may have overlooked something.
Could someone recommend me a good and accessible book on doing landscapes and general fundamentals for it?
>>2585297
Did you overlook "Big Book of Watercolor Painting" but Jose Parramon? Because that's about as good as it gets on watercolor books.
>>2583965
Thank you so much
>>2585349
I didn't see that posted in the thread, but I got a pdf from google. Thanks!
>>2583965

try on commons.wikimedia.org/wiki i have saved thousands with decent quality but haven't upload the folder to mega yet.
also on the older thread i posted these
Rachel Rubin Wolf - Strokes of Genius The Best of Drawing
there's 5 vols i think just search for them on warosu.org/ic (on vk.com is more difficult to find them)
some other books i have (i think you could find them searching the name + vk.com)
Paul Joannides - The Drawings of Michelangelo
The Metropolitan Museum of Art - Leonardo Da Vinci - Anatomical Drawings
The Metropolitan Museum of Art - Greece and Rome
Drawing Techniques By Old Masters & Contemporary
Ernst van De Wetering - A Corpus Of Rembrandt Paintings
i also recommend one called Charles Bargue - Drawing Course
How good is the bargue drawing course? Is there anything you would recommend over the bargue drawing course?
