can someone make it with bad handwriting? am i doomed to fail?

Handwriting has no bearing on drawing ability.

If you don't write a lot you're not going to make it.

i hope so. i've been thinking about it for a while how maybe peoples sense of appealing shapes and line control might be limited by how good their handwriting is if they have been doing it for their entire lives.
i've also been using a brush pen for almost a year on and off. i wrote my name, i thought hey, that's pretty good for using a brush pen. my friend tried, not an artist, never used any kind of fine brush, they got nice consistent and appealing lines -____-

No you use different parts of your brain for writing and drawing so it's not really related. Maybe if you do calligraphy then there is some carryover in hand-eye coordination and control, but that stuff can be learned easily anyways.

better than mine

How can good hand writing translate to good draughtsmanship? It's literally symbol drawing.
the amount crazy, imbecilic thinking that takes root on this board. it pales in comparison to the neets r9000k

you're right ;_;
>>2506987
i'm a pretty good drawer, but my hand writing is quite a lot worse than yours
it's similar to a 8 year old's
>>2506987
as long as its readable, you're fine
>>2506987
That's calligraphy compared to my handwriting
>>2507380
