Post anything comic related, preferably your own work.
Critique is always welcome.
Oh my, this looks really good. Nicely done, OP. Nicely done...
Holy fuck nigger I need more. I love this shit! I remember the first couple of pages. I forgot what board I went on and became a poltard. Found you again and I'm still in love with this shit.

Literally registered just so i could give you one more sub. Your stuff is seriously great.
I'll be watching you, motherfucker. Don't you dare stop drawing.
Class assignment from last autumn. I'd like to say I've improved significantly since then.
I have not.
Colored recently to submit it to a school I've applied to. Tear me apart anon.

dear anon,
it's weird but kinda interesting.
would be better if you were able to draw better. Hoewever, your art isn't too bad
did these 10 pages for LAS
was a bit rushed because had to do 10 pages in 20 days

Using the square boxes for anything but the digital text messages doesn't read well. It clashes too much with your cartooning style. There's also inherent associations with various shapes, and boxes tend to read stiffer and less organic which is why we've adopted speech bubbles for spoken words in the first place. An alternative if you are pressed for time is to leave the text free, then connect it with a curve to the speaker, though it's still not as appealing as bubbles.
On this particular page there's also some confusion regards to who is speaking. It becomes obvious what dialogue belongs to whom from context, but any momentary doubt as to who's speaking here breaks up the pacing unnecessarily.

Thank you anon. You've made my day.

very good tips
thanks for your time and critic
As simple as the art style of OP's comic is, I really like it. Sort of reminds me of this http://samaldencomics.tumblr.com/post/32842625940/farmers-dilemma-2012 . I'm really warming up to simple ink comics. I'm thinking about doing my own, with mostly simple, quick panels and a few detailed splash pages. OP, what size paper do you work on?
>>2497486
keep on keepin' on
Draw figures from life for practice if you can, that pose is pretty awkward.
>>2497573
This isn't bad, but I'm not terribly partial to it and I can't put my finger on why. It might just be because it's out of context.
>>2498344
Thanks! Using just ink and water saves so much time. Each page is like 5"x8" or so, it's in a moleskine.
>>2497273
I like this a lot, maybe try playing with sizing and arranging the frames differently; everything is pretty evenly distributed and it's not very dynamic as a whole.

I like this. Keep drawing. Got a blog?

I've seen this same shot from a japanese horror manga i once read

Come on man, use common sense.

I did almost the whole thing on physical media, so I'd have to redraw as well as recolor the entire thing for that. I'm working on another comic project for class right now, and am drawing every frame on a separate sheet so I can just digitally rearrange them all how I like.
>>2498474
Chances are I've read the same thing and subconsciously used it from memory. I'm not sure which shot you mean in particular, but it could be all of them.

I have a da which I've revived to keep as a timelapse for myself:

I just meant in the future, not rearranging and resizing all of the frames in this comic in particular. I think trying to do each frame individually and scan them in could be helpful, but in the long run it's going to be extremely tedious and not worth the time (compared to doing a few thumbnail comps and laying them out on the page. Regardless of this, if you can find a process that works for you, use it!
Anyone applying for the DC Talent Workshop? Currently inking my pages atm
I did this a week ago for fun. 1/2

>>2499366
he is,thanks
I guess I should make it clearer
>>2499389
It's perfect the way it is. Im really digging the subtlety
>>2499389
Saved it. Sick of comics like OPs but this one really hit a spot
How is it?
>>2501679
I found it very boring. Too much text and if you used more panels it would be much more interesting.
>>2501737
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind next page.
>>2501737 How about this one? Is it at least more interesting?
>>2501792
Yeah it's much better, I also like the fact that you're using different panel sizes in this one.

This is a great read, thank you so much.

Thanks for this, I knew my fur looked like shit but this helps a lot.
My own fault for not trying to look things like this up beforehand, honestly.
>>2501833
>>2501796
Also, I'm going to have to start my comic over again anyway, considering I could do much better with perspective and fur.
