you dont have the spark
Too many, also Figure Drawing by Loomis, it's out because I'm studying it this month.
If you want to know about any of the books tell me.

Can we please stop trying to force this shitty meme already
>>2444925
when will you remove each page out of the books to scan them in?
>>2444925
Where you from amigo? See some spanish books

Living in Madrid atm
>>2444934
Wish I was in Madrid. Alot of current artists that I like are from Spain. Ruben Belloso, Cesar Santos, and Vicente Romero.
>>2444925
>El Incal
Was thinking about buying that. Is it worth it?
>>2445002
I love it, very original ideas and the ending is pure mindfuck
>>2444938
Why not move
>>2444926
We could but it won't give you the spark, anon.
Also if you can't tell the difference between a drawing by Loomis and one by Bridgman you're pretty dull.

How's the How to Render book? Thinking about picking it up
>>2445002
Yes, but make sure you get an edition with the original colors, like this one (or the Epic comics editions I got back when Moebius comics were all OoP).
Why would you buy books when free downloads can be found on this very board? Seems like a waste of good money.
I actually don't have much.
>>2445476
because they feel and smell nice

Art & fear? What is it?
Is Jack Hamm /ic/ approved? I haven't seen it mentioned much
>>2445792
If you’ve ever started to have thoughts in your head about “am I talented enough?” or “why do I bother making art?” then you need to read this book. You also need to read this book if you haven’t had those thoughts yet. It’s a quick read and very enjoyable. I don’t think any book will get you back to your easel faster than this one.

I need a book on hands.
all the WTF books I bought at garage sales and haven't read all of them, and admit i never finished Nicolaides or the DK text book but plan on it.
>>2445953
Sounds like you're not very dedicated
>All of these weak-ass collections
>Not being born into a family with both parents as artists
>Not having tons of inherited art books
Nigga please. It's like you all don't have the spark.
>>2446171
post pictures of your mom
>>2445972
Nah, I love the book.
silly amerifags. reading your Loomises and Bridgemans, while failing to realise the true genius of the superior European draughtsmen like Gottfried Bammes.
>>2446373
How about you read all of them and pick up things from different people, form your own methods.
>>2444926
i just got back from a long vaction from here and it doesn't sound like a meme at all to me. knowledge is power and if someone doesn't have a big enough thirst to pick up more than 1 book to learn from out of sheer curiousity alone i highly doubt he would stay interested enough to take art to any sort of meaningful level.
Spark ignites the flame anon and i assure you many people on this board have it.
>>2446373
that strongly satisfies my autism
>>2446373
I prefer Bridgman, Bammes is way too heavy (literally, the books weighs a lot) and all over the place. It also looks like Bammes is only useful in a specially prepared art curriculum. Not like I would ever want to visit a school that uses it. It would probably be shit.
