Should you only learn to paint once perfecting your lineart ?

u should only learn loomis once drawing
bump. serious question and not my art btw
learn both at the same time
if you can't learn fit in any time or whatever, do comes before
but I think both is the best way to go because it saves time and you don't want to be confused (like your drawing could be good but the design/composition is bad)

This. Learning color and rendering takes time, I wish I had started practicing both sooner. I would say to wait until you're fairly proficient with lineart and definitely good with construction because rendering can muddle forms so easily. After that though start on color asap.

just don't mix everything, go one step at a time and make it simple, a good drawing can carry a bad painting but not the other way around
to train color theory apply it on simple things like still lifes and don't fuck around with complicated bullshit

thanks. im concentrating on lineart before i try painting.
ive seen images with great design and shit color, but it still looks good cause of the design.
