I want to make sharpie stuff on nice paper. How can I preserve

You can't fix alcohol-based markers. Buy a proper lightfast pigment ink pen.

Actually, i've been wondering this myself. What's a good alternative to sharpies? Copics? What if I just want the cruddy sharpie nib look?
