I'll give you my marketing tip : when posting art to your dA or wherever, don't say "click here to support me on Patreon". Instead say "this piece of art supported by XX patrons on Patreon" and then your true fans will want to pledge to be a part of that number, without you asking or begging them to. Note you need fans and existing patrons for this to work.

Think of an artist you like, imagnine you could get acsess to their early sketches/art for just 5 dollars a month?
Popularity is a factor,but if you can carve out your niche, give your patrons something good at at the 3-7 dollar range, some really good for its price.
For example, if your an animator, maybe releasing early rough videos of your work for 5 dollar patrons?
It would help more if you elaborated on what art you made.
