Serious question here. Are there any great artists that use markers for their professional work? I know about Scott Robertson but most of what he uses them for are sketches anyway, I'm looking for more polished pieces with strong fundamentals. I swear everything else I've found is shitty tumblr artists with tons of copic markers posing them in their instagram tier photos. I want to believe this medium is good but I can't find much material supporting this thought.
I think yoji shinkawa uses some markers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gJQyVfKZJg
Brianne Drouhard uses markers primarily. She's not the most technically impressive artist but her colors and designs make for some very appealing stuff in my humble imho
actually I was thinking of kim jung gi
there you go senpai https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-_f2Ngn8O0
I'm not sure why, but your question pisses me off, OP. It really does.
But I'm going to give you an answer anyway.

Star Wars concept artist. Works primarily in Copics.
But you simply aren't going to find that much polished, finished artwork done in markers these days, for the simple reason that digital art has supplanted so much that used to be done in marker.
You want good marker work, go back 20 years. Lots of concept art used to be done in marker, but now with digital, when you can change things on the fly, why on earth would you use marker for anything other than loose sketching, or getting rough ideas down on paper?
