The conifer trees that are in light look terrible.
>>2415473
Post some good ones then
>>2415479
I like that piece, it's just that one part that I'm not a fan of.
>>2415467
Feng Zhu is better.
If you think this shit is good, then you will never make it.
>>2415355
that would look much better if it were not for the figures.
>>2416121
>then you will never make it
Not him, but is that a meme on /ic/? Or is everyone here just so self-absorbed that they actually believe they can tell people that with confidence?
>>2416135
It's a new meme. From what I can tell it got fairly popular in the past week.
This and anything involving a "spark" (which I don't have) is just bait, which newfriends always fall for in a hilariously and butt-blasted fashion.

Post art instead of trying to derail my thread faggots

>which newfriends always fall for in a hilariously and butt-blasted fashion.
that's the point, I not the one who memes around but I suppose those are to drive away the newfags which don't bother to lurk before making a new thread for their shitty 5 min doodle
pretty much how merc_wip.jpg come to life because of too much post-your-work
>>2416379
I was making a comment on the piece you posted.
Thus adding to the thread.
You are an actual faggot.
Albert bierstadt imo
>>2416417
This is a thread for digital landscapes.
Go to 2401540 for traditional landscape painting
you guys have no fucking taste.
most of these look nice. Real question not trolling. Besides making paintings for a concept for company, why paint digital? It seems like most of these digital paintings are art for arts sake, so why not paint them on a canvas or make a watercolor? I feel like the effect would be much stronger....
>>2416480
Post good taste
>>2416485
Likely because it's the prefered medium of the artist. Digital is way easier to learn and faster to work with aswell as having a whole new level of flexibility. Digital is still very limited when it comes to dynamic brush work though.
>>2416485
When you have all the colors of the world with great tools that make routine easier it is an obvious answer for every artist ever lived.
>>2416505
muh dick
>>2416485
Very stupid question. When digital art is your bread and butter, you obviously want to get better at digital art. These paintings aren't art for art's sake. They are either exercises, experimentations with new digital techniques or portfolio work.
>>2416131
It's a part of a larger series of sketches fleshing out a world as a concept piece.
Look at the bottom left, He has been drawing those characters for years.
Look up his work under Snatti89 and I'm sure you will find some pleasing art that's not part of the project.

I'm not crazy about those colors.

Go away Feng.

Post better work
>>2415467
amazing.
>>2416121
Fuck off nerd, I'm not paying for your shit.
>>2416379
How did he get that looking to soft? Like everything looks fuzzy kinda. Is it the brush? Is it a filter?
>>2424307
You mean the noise? That's just noise.
>>2424314
Oh okay. That makes sense! Thank you
>>2418012
MUH JEWSE
>>2424307
More than the noise, I think its because for those soft sections of the image, he's only using color contrast, not value contrast. if you look at it greyscale, its almost all the same value.
On top of that, even the color contrast isnt very strong.
