Dunno why the other guy got rid of his thoughts, they werent bad.

I cant say that deleting my games would help me though. The main issue with me is that I am a beginner and I dont quite know what to do. It may sound stupid, but it overwhelms me and I feel like I dont know where to start at all.

> it overwhelms me and I feel like I dont know where to start at all.

dont think about winning the war, think about winning the battle. one battle after another.

try to take pleasure in what you do. everyday i have doubt about myself, but everyday i still find joy at one point or another. everyday draw a little more. if you really want to be good, as long as you draw everyday you will get their, its biologically impossible not to improve.

good luck !

Set your desk up with some paper and a pencil like you're going to draw. No matter what, leave the paper there. If you spill shit on the paper replace it. If you run out replace it.
If you prefer digital leave your painting program open in the background and your tablet ready to draw.

When ever you get to a stopping point in something not art related do a little doodle, a vague scribble that kind of reminds you of something, or continue one you've got going, don't feel obligated to stop or not.
When you're consistently doing some drawing between everything (lets say one week you draw a bit at every possible stopping point) keep doing it, but when you hit a point where you want to stop push it 5-10 more minutes and check if you want to keep going.

Don't worry about things that you see wrong, its enough to see them and take note, you don't need to fix it right now but you should learn how to fix it at some point. Conversely while you draw actively take note of things you like about whatever you're drawing and things you do right. It can be stuff as small as liking the way a certain line looks to whatever you're drawing is (e.g. "I FUCKING LOVE drawing houses").

When you're clocking an hour or so uninterrupted toss in a study here and there, this is in addition to what you're already doing. Remind yourself of what you're trying to learn from the study in with the other mental chatter and when you're done reflect on it; what did right/wrong, what you got or didn't.

If you fall back into a day or two without drawing don't worry about it, stock your paper and do a little doodle.

do not listen to this fag, you will offer your vital energy to satan and step into procrastination even further

Not OP, but I have this issue.

I just fucking lost the count on how many times I have masturbated today. I sometimes replace study with playing vidyas or masturbating and yes... It's not good to replace things to do with fap.

Yeah, I think I am addicted to porn. I have already put all my porn into a pendrive and hid it inside a toolbox with a padlock, but I can't browse my reference folder withouth masturbating.

As you can imagine, my reference folder is porn.

Yeah, what will trick my mind into not touching my penis? I am fapping while writing this. I have done this so much I can write perfectly with one hand.

I have already deleted all vidyas from my PC, so that's no longer a problem.

TL;DR
>Must not fap. Can't delete porn as is reference. Can't quit browsing the internets.

Shock therapy.

Browse nasty medical conditions. Watch the pictures. Have that shit present.

I swear to God you will not touch your little friend for a long time.

Post on /ic/ asking for the magical solution we all have that we won't tell you.

I hear if you ask 20 times over the course of a month the magical discipline fairy will visit you and imbue you with the ability to not be useless and expect others to make up for your deficiencies, OP.

This is the best advice I can give you that's a step above "just do it" but is still "just do it" because you just need to do it:
Make a schedule on a spreadsheet. Plot your day out into half hour sections. Get all the necessities of your day plotted. Work. Eating. Sleeping. Allot yourself some leisure time. Videogames, reading, fapping, shitposting on /ic/. Allot yourself some art time. If you're not already used to doing long hours of art (I'm guessing your not judging by your question) don't overdo it and allot yourself 6 hours of art a day or you won't do it. Start with 30 minutes to an hour. Something manageable so that you can go "it's just 30 minutes" even if you don't want to do it. Perhaps disperse them throughout your day.
Get it on your spreadsheet, have your spreadsheet in sight.
Then stick to your fucking schedule. You will have days where real life calls and you need to adjust, but by having it plotted out you build a habit. When you don't do it, you're well aware you missed your scheduled time, so it isn't just a matter of "I'll totally draw tonight once I'm done with x x and x."

Defeat that anxiety and just draw shit. Figure it out as you go.
You'll hear a lot about 'effective practice vs ineffective practice' and there's an element of truth to that, but either is better than 'no practice.'
Even if you're being a retard about it, you will still develop some skills just by drawing. You're getting your mileage in and getting some of the thousands of shitty drawings you'll inevitably do out of your system. As you go, you'll start noticing what stuff you're the worst at and then you can direct your studies.
When I'm discouraged about progress I always think about mileage. I tell myself that every drawing, good or bad, is one of those few thousand drawings needed to reach proficiency.

If you stick with it you'll figure out the basics in a few months and then you'll be able to narrow down what hurdles you need to tackle the most.

I am a big pothead, so I just put my vaporizer, weed and pipe in a box, taped it shut and wrote do not open until 50 completed drawings on it.

Sure I could cheat, but the amount of failure I would feel is too strong.

I keep telling myself I'm going to stop procrastinating starting tomorrow.

I had a cage nearby to keep winged slut for... eh.. reference purposes and asked stupid question on forchins 69 times but she never came, the whore

Everything.
>>
Simplify your exercises. If you try to draw original, complex stuff out of thin air your brain will go nope even if you try to force yourself.
>>
I find meditating for about 10 minutes before starting something I want to do helps.

Breathe deeply and let your thoughts float by like clouds.

When you don't have a head full of thoughts, its easy to start something
>>
I cant start at all. I cant force myself, it just doesnt work. What the fuck is happening
>>
>>2406421
starting a blog helped me. not that i have many followers, but i draw a lot more now that i have somewhere to upload all my stuff.
>>
>>2406567
Whatever you do, don't do this. If drawing is the only thing on your mind, even when you're not able to do it, you'll burn out completely.
>>
>>2406628
I'm worse, I haven't done anything since September. It gets worse the longer you leave it, OP. I'm dreading to see how much I've faltered in terms of getting back into it.
