Also I would suggest Hogarth for volume (his art is stylized but he was the first one who game me the visualization of body as a volume. Also he has crazy drawing with multiple body poses that can teach you to change your pose drastically and loosen up so that you don't get stuck in a pose that doesn't work. Also his book on drapery is good)
Bridgman is good when it comes to volume.
Bammes (german book) is great when it comes to muscle definition, location and movement.

Loomis isn't the be all and end all, the books are pretty trash if you don't supplement them with other resources.
