I want to know what kind of art style this is, like maybe a specific name for it? I'm referring to the sorta cartographic aspects, with the circles and lines around the planets and all that crap.

It's just a cartographic inspired UI design, anon. One that would work a lot nicer on m+k if I might add, but still. It's very pretty and well organized. It falls less into a specific artstyle (as far as I can tell, the planets are taken from their concept art and maybe refined a little bit) but the look you're refering to is mostly adding cartographic elements to create a starchart in a very nicely designed space with solid typography.
