/r/woahdude on leddit is great when you're high or tripping bruh, you'll find tons on the lsd board too.
If you're interested in understanding some old art I would look at old mandala or carpet designs.
The idea of a magic carpet was that you would stare at the center while meditating(psychedelic states can be reached through yoga or meditation) and the design of the carpet would influence your trip. In a sense they were geometric landscapes but only accessible to those who understood their purpose.
Consider that the same ratios that are pleasing in music are also pleasing in art(look into root rectangles and music theory; Classical Painting Atelier by Juliette Aristides touches on this a bit) and that much of eastern art was informed by this mathematical order.
These same mathematical ratios which are pleasing in art and music are also present in nature(the human body, nautilus shells, sunflowers, pineapples, etc.); this to me would seem to challenge the notion that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and suggest that perhaps there is some transcendental order or standard to beauty.
It's fun to think about; I've had some profound insights while thinking on these topics under the influence of mushrooms. Unfortunately I can't remember any of them. :D
Anyway reaching a state of still mind is significantly easier on psychedelics in my experience. Maybe try setting a timer for 20 minutes or so and try staring at the center of a mandala whilst focusing your attention on your breathing.
Report back with profits?

You don't need art. Everything becomes art and I really mean that. You can pick up a leaf and hold it in your hands for 30minutes just staring at it
