/pol is a normie board. Normies don’t understand what art forms take more skills than others. They see photo rendering and say "This is some good shit!"
>>2329107
>implying /ic/ isn't a normie board
>>2329107
That's what /ic/ does too brah.

What?
Did you literally just step onto the board or what?
What is /ic/ approved/ respected art? What genres are the most skill intensive?
>>2329417
Usually stuff done without reference is praised higher, so Kim Jung Gi is considered the top by many (even though his work isn't always stronger than other people, but I guess it gets a pass because it is done without ref?). Digital fantasy illustrators like Mullins or Ruanjia are also worshipped. Usually 19th century academics are praised too, people like Bouguereau or Repin.

/pol/'s drawthreads were pretty cozy desu. I miss them.
>>2329467
Aren't they still a thing? What happened to them?
>>2324433
Honestly, after /ic/ i don't know which people are worse.
>>2329500
Malaysia anon ruined them something fierce.
>>2329500
I don't know, I haven't seen it in a while.
>>2328473
ironically, /pol/ are the worst kind of faggot because they choose what art they like based on ideological reason, exactly as the leftist they hate so much.
and modern abstract art is in great part due to the work of CIA who funded it to counter the social realist movement of USRR.
