What other show can you find a practical alien effect where a human a muppet are mixed to create multiarmed bartender that is at best part of the B story?

There has been no other show I've loved as much as Farscape.

Yeah, the first half of season one is rough.
Even the showrunners wish they could redo it.
Once Sci-Fi got off their backs things got a lot better.

great show. I love the sg1 spoof scene they did for farscape in season 10.

Greatest show ever! Only Firefly comes close.

That was pretty great.

Best show ever, greatest sci-fi ever conceived, first example of a totally self-aware ensemble space opera I can even think of. The only thing that comes close to this level of fully-realized sci-fi execution is The Fifth Element, which is equally polarizing with viewers.

Either you get it and you love it, or you don't. There's no in-between in this territory.
So glad I was on the right side of that line!

I, unfortunately, have no image to contribute. But i will say. As a big fan of Jim Henson's works. I found it hilarious when his son more or less 'found stuff lying around' and reused it. Dark crystal is especially apparent.
