Actually I disagree. I tell people that I'm bisexual because it's easier for them (and you, evidently) to understand. I fall for someone because of who they are and any sexual attraction is derived from them as a person. I could not know someone's gender and still fancy them, or indeed they could change gender and I doubt I'd care. They could be a Ken doll and I'd still be with them.
