Is it just me or was there an obsession with Nazi sex dungeons following World War Two? If so, why was this the case? Why was lesbian erotica so popular? Why is lesbian porn still popular?

Because women got emancipated during the world wars when their husbands were out fighting and they had to take charge of life on the homefront. Post-ww2 society got a lot more conservative though and now you had these emancipated women showing male characteristics walking the earth of the 1950s and 60s. With advances in psychology and stuff like the beatnik generation, sexual deviance becomes topical and so the rise of "manly" women feeds men's imagination of lesbianism.

Hey, I'm not arguing with you. I'm just mentioning that the line between "raunchy" and "unacceptable", even in pornography, has traditionally been drawn at pubescence. For girls, anyway; boys have traditionally been fair game at younger ages and even in really ancient (ie. late Victorian era) smut it's not unusual to find boys around the age of eight or so being sexual with older women.
