Even though he had original ideas which has been assimilated into the academia, even in feminist theory, to cultural theory, to theories of metaphysics, his intellectual influence on the population has rendered a huge fanbase of pseudo-intellectuals, a lot who even misjudges his moral theory for nihilism.
Ayn Rand:
She wasn't a philosopher but she rather expressed the current sentiment of the uneducated population, which has been indoctrinated by neoliberalist propaganda. She basically put into words the radical philosophy which is truly beneath likes of Milton Friedman etc.
Carl Jung:
I have not read him myself, so I have no say in that. But the people who read Carl Jung are from experience very very uneducated in general.
Popper:
Here I tread on some dangerous grounds, so let me explain what I mean: they are uneducated in science theory or science literacy in general but not necessarily in specific. People who like Popper are often only educated or knowledgeable in a very narrow field of study, or in no science whatsoever, since he is often the only person brought up in a tiny undergrad course on philosophy of science.
Then I'd go on to say people like:
Thoreau, Camus, Voltaire, buddhists, Simone de Beauvoir (she is praised for her feminism without being read), Marx, Hitler, Stirner, Wittgenstein and so on and so on.
As for Noam Chomsky:
Yes, I agree here to some extent, but I'd say Nietzsche or Ayn Rand are worse.
Noam Chomsky is often deeply respected, even though people disagree with him, and he does have a fanbase within the academia, but he also speaks to a lot of marginalised people without an ability to an education etc.

Zizek's chacterization of Rand is at most amusing, but I'm not fan of her. Friedman explicitly rejected Rand.
