I'm gonna dump my images folder. I don't know where most of these are from, so let's make it a game. Provide some context!

Your pic is a Polish soldier during WW1.
It's probably Polnische Wehrmacht under A-H. They were quite based, rekt the Russkies for the Emperor and weren't afraid of anything.
I hear tell this is from Nanking
Hiroshima I think

Attempted Nixon assassination?
>>61695
common sense, and the fact that most of these photos that mysteriously appeared out of China have no known source.
Whatever the Japanese army was or was not doing, it probably didn't make it a point of photographing war crimes.
Bayonetting babies is something that the English often accused the Germans of doing in WWI, except the didn't doctor photos.

so you're speculating in this case?

Somewhere in chapter two he shows the original photos and the photos doctored by Iris Chang, or used by Chang for the book The Rape of Nanking. Nearly every photo of the atrocity is either fake, because they have the original photo, or fake because the uniforms and equipment is wrong.
Seriously people, you have a brain. Fucking use it. You'd think in an age where most 17 year old can use photoshop, and learn about how Stalin doctored his photos, you might raise an eyebrow when you see photos of "bad" guys smiling with babies on bayonets and headless bodies.
Granted that photo isn't discussed, mainly because that photo hasn't been around very long. Which is odd, you'd think a photo like that would have been in all the newspapers. Strange.....

I always get those two mixed up, for whatever reason.
The assassinations, I mean. Pretty fucking hard to mix Nixon with anyone.

Some trivia: These were balloons used by the russians in WW2 which were put up around the cities in order to prevent german fighter jets from flying close to the ground and fucking up civlians.

1937, printed c. 1970
In January 1937, the swollen banks of the Ohio River flooded Louisville, Kentucky, and its surrounding areas. With one hour’s notice, photojournalist Margaret Bourke-White caught the next plane to Louisville. She photographed the city from makeshift rafts, recording one of the largest natural disasters in American history for Life magazine, where she was a staff photographer. The Louisville Flood shows African-Americans lined up outside a flood relief agency.
