A lack of responsibility is what has held us back. Taking agency away from ourselves and blaming every single fault and flaw on some all encompassing White boogeyman has done our people no good and continuing to do it will not fix anything. The man doesn't give a shit about African Americans, only his pocket book.

I can appreciate the intellect of many leftists despite being conservative myself and severely disagreeing with them, but Cornel West's diatribes all consist of "muhracism," "muhpatriarchy," "muhbrotherman," and worst of all "muhsystem."
When anyone starts blaming the "system" without detailing what the fuck they mean by that its a red flag every time.
