Literally Portugal. An expedition of 400 Portuguese musketeers arrived, the expedition was caught and slaughtered by the Ottomans, then the Ethiopian emperor rallied them under his command (Even waiting days before his counter-offensive, as he considered 50 musketeers a greater reinforcement than a thousand native warriors) and decisively defeated the Ottoman/Somalis.
Ottomans struck back not too much longer though and took their coast away, resuming the centuries-old isolation they already had endured
