Will his dream ever come true?
Who is fighting for what he believed in?

No. He was a self-righteous turd with little appreciation of European geo-political structure.

Modern American foreign policy still uses Wilsonian rhetoric to justify interventionism around the world, so not sure what your point is.

Wilson was probably sincere in his beliefs that the United States should be the main role model and teacher for the rest of the world, and that America had a divine right and obligation to improve the world along American ideals and values, but only bad things have resulted from this.

The man who destroyed Europe, or helped destroying it.

Can we all agree that this man is the worst President that America ever had and that his actions negatively affected not just the US but the rest of the world?

Seconding this
1913 is probably the worst year in American history, everything that happened that year absolutely sucked.

He was a tiny bit more competent than Bush Jr.

But he established the Wilsonian interventionism that W. used to justify his bullshit foreign policy. So in a lot of ways he's much worse since he created the tools that Bush and others have used to fuck up the rest of the world.

>forms a league of nations
>doesn't include his country in it
Why?

Treaties have to be ratified by Congress, non-Amerifat. Wilson worked really hard to get the American people and Republican politicians to support and ratify the treaty, which would have put the US into membership of the League of Nations, but he failed to get the necessary votes. Mostly because he was an asshole academic with little political experience and he alienated most Republicans by not incorporating or even humoring their suggestions.

>mfw Germans supported his 14 points program and got the middle finger
I'm not even sure he believed in what he preached if he made an exception for the vanquished. He's directly responsible for Hitler.
>>
He's a piece of shit.

I'm pretty sure ignorance of history is the only reason this guy isn't reviled more than he is. There is more than enough evidence for anyone of any political affiliation to hate him.

There's no denying that Wilson was a prick; he was hail fellow well met if you agreed with him, but if you disagreed you were either a fool or evil. This inability to compromise was his downfall. He could have had the Treaty ratified if he had been willing to accept some Republican amendments, but he refused - or his wife did on his behalf, as Wilson was very ill with a stroke at the time. Odd, as he had been President of Princeton and Governor of New Jersey and so had some political experience.

Was he the most autistic president?

To be fair, when it came to the treaty, he at least went on a stumping trip across the U.S to convince the people of the Treaty and from there influence enough Senators to agree with him. He might have been willing to compromise at the 11th hour if his stumping failed, but we'll never know since he basically lost the office because of his stroke.
