Didn't even mention the internment of kaffirs, of which many more died than Afrikaan Boers. The concentration camps were an appalling scandal for Britons even back then. Many Britons back home were horrified when they found out these camps existed and tens of thousands of innocent women and children were dying of hunger of disease due to negligence and carelessness.
