This is supposed to be Theodoric I, king of the Visigoths. He ruled from 418-451 ad.
The painting itself is from 1635 and clearly shows contemporary style.

Found in some schizophrenics apartment in the 1950s after he hung himself.

The Romance of the Three Kingdoms in its entirety is an exercise in anachronism.
It had people from the Han Dynasty dressed up and using stuff from the 1100's Song Dynasty. The only reason China knows its ancient is via the fact that Feudal Nobles are present.

Relatively contemporary, but not really.
It's anachronistic, but not really contemporary to 1635. More just artistically licensed.
The decorative pauldrons and poleyns, 16th century-style tassets, and appearance otherwise isn't particularly congruous with 17th century military fashion.

Don't have an image but the famous painting of the last supper by Da Vinci has oranges laid out on the table which wouldn't have been available in the middle east during antiquity.

There is no one RIGHT depiction of Satan. You don't get to decide what he is supposed to look like. There are many images of Satan through out the ages where he is jolly or ones were he is sad.
