Well I tried to volunteer for the Falklands but they wouldn't have me. My dad was a conscript in ww 2 at least he said he was, but he was in from the start. He had a bad war, very nasty, and was against any one joining voluntary. I have held that view most of my life but when the fuss starts and the call go's out you can be swept along.
