The only positions women were barred from was millitary, law and government. Other than that most women of the Reich received free University education, had massive social programs in their favor, got medals just for having kids, and didn't have to worry about getting accosted by gypsies in the park anymore. Most German women adored the Reich. The sense of conformity and community is especially pleasing to women, and well dressed men full of pride and machismo, who were healthy and would support them, was an added bonus.

Generally, not very well. Women were being groomed as their role as the caretaker. Literature written about women emphasized the role they should take - as wholly supporting of their husband. Their "sacrifices" (of which all nazis had hardons) were to sacrifice their life for their husband, more or less, in a figurative sense. They were meant to care for the home, the children and do very little critical or creative thinking.
