The other two I was considering was The Eternal Anglo (pic related) or Diogenes in a barrel.

In retrospect, though, even if a team were to be made and approved by Spring this logo would be way too complicated to be seen from PES anyway.

>>
>>269508
>Their reign was short lived, however, as the Chinese gathered a huge expeditionary army under the veteran general Ma Yuan to suppress the rebellion. The Trưng sisters were defeated in battle in 43 AD. Different accounts regarding the fate of the sisters are recorded in Vietnamese and Chinese sources. The Đại Việt sử lược reports that the sisters were killed by Ma Yuan. According to the Trần Thế Pháp and Đại Việt sử ký toàn thư, the sisters died during the fighting after they were deserted by their fellow rebels.[6] The Book of the Later Han states that they were executed by Ma Yuan, who sent their decapitated heads back to the Han capital.[7] There are also legendary accounts claiming that the sisters fell sick, vanished in the sky, or took their own lives by jumping into a river and drowning.[6]

Left leaning by 4chan standards doesn't mean much. Even people who defend feminism here will casually throw around "nigger" and "faggot" mid-argument. It's like how Reddit is very liberal compared to 4chan but considered right wing by the mainstream media, or how 4chan considers itself a bastion against political correctness but eight-chan call us SJW fags.

I'm an occasional drawfag but i rarely if ever draw historical things.

I'd love to do it more, though. I'd love to, say, draw a scene of an event that hasn't been depicted in a more accurate way or at all, even. This is something i'm hoping i will do more as i learn.

in that spirit, /his/ art threads could be amazing, does anyone here think there's something you wish there was a depiction of? like, an ancient weapon or uniform or battle, a lost city during it's splendor, ancient tech, rituals, ornaments, and so on and so forth.

Seriously though just because the west was so inspired by the Greeks doesn't make them western. They didn't give a flying fuck about 90% of the regions we consider the western world and were far more involved in/interested in the east.

I'd say calling the Greeks western is a bigger meme, but that's just the way scholars have done it for decades so as far as the historical record goes, they are.

This goes double considering Greece hadn't been considered part of the 'west' for much of its golden age when it was under Ottoman rule. The Ottomans were essentially the orient.

Greeks had colonies in Spain, Italy, and France.

And the only reason they were more interested in the east is because that's were civilization was. Egypt, Persia, Mesopotamia, India, Aksum, Phoenicia, etc.
Meanwhile Celts, Germanics, and Illyrians were all still fairly unorganized and unimportant at the time. Etruscans were fairly organized and advanced, I suppose, but that's it.

>And the only reason they were more interested in the east is because that's were civilization was. Egypt, Persia, Mesopotamia, India, Aksum, Phoenicia, etc.

That's the point. That's the world they were a part of, not the west. They're as much a part of the west for having colonies there as Europe is a part of Africa for the very same. The west was irrelevant until the Romans.

The Greeks sure as shit wouldn't have considered themselves to have anything in common with any of the countries we consider part of the west in their own time. Just because these countries were later heavily inspired by the Greeks doesn't really change that, besides a broad and convenient categorization.

Obviously though I'm arguing against the generally accepted narrative, which firmly puts the Greeks in the west. I just don't agree with it. The Romans, sure, but the Greeks are pushing it.

Then again people consider Australia part of 'the west' as well so the concept is pretty nebulous anyway.
