Despite how ingrained the cliches are, it's weird how I never got any Senator's Son feels traveling all over Vietnam 4 months early this year. Even walking around alone at Khe Sanh airfield, with an spooky thunderstorm blowing in and old US armament around, it was hard to imagine the war actually happening there.
