That's a modern map that poorly represents the colonies.
>>
>>20646
You aren't even wrong with that. Rhode Island and Connecticut barely have any reason to not be eaten by Massachusetts.
>>
>>20918
wasn't RI founded to be a colony where there was total religious freedom?

The massive amount of land designated as a prison colony.

Slavery?
Ethnic cleansing of indegionous people?

Eliminate everything south of Delaware

The 13 colonies should be turned into a UNESCO world heritage site so we can kick out all the blacks and muds and turn it back into a white paradise.

Everything in that list except for slavery in a few countries was happening across the world at the time.

It wasn't considered bad or taboo at the time to do any of those things.

Worst gun laws in the nation reside in that area.

You conveniently left out vermont, flyover.

Vermont wasn't one of the original 13
>>
>>21714
but it was on that map. Perhaps the reason that gun laws havent changed in the northeast (for better or worse) is that it wasnt a political priority?

13 was was pretty arbitrary. It could have included several more if the future-Canadian colonies got on board. And perhaps Bermuda.

>>no Civil War
>>states' rights would still be taken seriously

Let's not get hasty, now. Slaves were more-or-less just farm equipment in the grand scheme of things and as usual it was economics that spurred the Civil War. If you had had poor whites working the fields in more-or-less the same conditions then you still would have had almost the same damn war.

except for RI being founded by people escaping from the puritanical massholes

>>20989
yep, Roger Williams was banished by Massachusetts Bay Colony because he disagreed with them on religious matters

RI was also the first colony to declare independence, fyi
>>
>>20619
Maine being part of Massachusetts.

As a Mainer, I would fucking die if Massholes were my brothers.
