I think my use of the word 'glory hunter' was a tad misused but im sure that yes it did bolster his view of his independant fate and beliving he was destined for greatness.
In alot of ways though that would be correct thought oddly enough, he may not be remembered fondly but he is now recorded in history as one of the most memorable characters.
