For the other 2 of the big 3, palestinian genocide is clearly detailed in the book of joshua, Judea itself has quite a violent, and radical history leading to things like mass suicides and wide scale revolts
And you have Christianity, which of course has its radical, violent past (crusades, the catholic church's absolute control of medieval europe bringing forth executions and burnings in the name of Jesus, the inquisiton, witch hunts etc)
And yet they all calmed down eventually, in comparison to their past radicalism

It has far more to do with the geopolitics of the areas and the events from post-WWII, through the cold war, and into the present day.

You thought wrong, you've believed lies. The Library of Alexandria was already destroyed before Islam, by the Romans. The early Muslims didn't sack cities, if the city surrendered they peacefully occupied it, if it was besieged there were still little reprisals. They didn't care for heretical stuff among Jews and Christians and they were allowed to keep their faith, the Arabs didn't want converts because they wanted to be an elite upper class and they wanted to be able to tax their subjects for being not Muslim.
