How does the ideal life look like? Let's spell it out.
I think this is less subjective than easily assumed. There are things we KNOW make humans feel good, such as regular exercise (yet many ignore this fact). Almost everyone with children also speak of how much their children, almost unconditionally, mean to them and bring them happiness - so forming a family should be another thing.
It also seems humans are prone to depression without a sense of purpose. Does it matter where this purpose is found (e.g. religion, qualified job, philosophy)?
What more is necessary for a life of self-fulfillment?
The greatest happiness is to vanquish your enemies, to chase them before you, to rob them of their wealth, to see those dear to them bathed in tears, to clasp to your bosom their wives and daughters.

>to clasp to your bosom their wives and daughters.
I'd prefer to clasp to my bosom their brothers and sons, if you get what I'm saying :33
The greatest happiness is the mastery over oneself. My ideal life would be a mastery over my self, my desires, my thoughts, my actions, my inhibitions, etc.
A person who has mastered himself is a master of the world.
